IWS aviation
IWS Aviation was established in 2005 to provide domestic services geared to meet the needs of the commercial aviation industry both locally and globally. Equipped with the latest technology, IWS Helicopters which commenced operations in 2014, provides a wide range of services including passenger, cargo and special charter flights along Sri Lanka’s popular air routes.
Services
We are pleased to announce that IWS Aviation has received approval by Civil Aviation Authority to resume operations from our aerodrome in Welisera following the tragic events of April 21st 2019. As the only private Aerodrome in Sri Lanka , this facility offers landing and parking spaces, line and base maintenance for Airbus and Bell Helicopters, Aircraft on Ground Help Desk (AOG ) support, crew coordination and a VIP lounge.
